After 18 played minutes Podgaj got a freekick which was hit by Dobromir Jarek. Jacek Walicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariusz Kossakowski in the 19th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureliusz Jeziorkowski in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stasio Dresik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, Podgaj's Aureliusz Jeziorkowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stasio Dresik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Szklaramus Gniezno getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Cyryl Dziura hit a great ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Aureliusz Jeziorkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Podgaj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliusz Jeziorkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Radowit Nowak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliusz Jeziorkowski in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stasio Dresik saved Szklaramus Gniezno from getting behind. Dobromir Jarek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Antoni Jurgiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Ksawery Deput sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Szklaramus Gniezno's Stasio Dresik didn't even have to move. The audience was convinced that Dobromir Jarek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stasio Dresik was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Jacek Walicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoni Jurgiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Szklaramus Gniezno players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Podgaj from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
