The KS Złoty Łan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bogdan Czciborek should have stopped the shot. Sparta's Konrad Zajonc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Sparta from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Piotr Joks put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bogdan Czciborek. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Ignacy Kowalski sped through KS Złoty Łan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bogdan Czciborek. After having played for 37 minutes, Piotr Joks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sparta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Piotr Joks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jurand Wysocki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bogdan Czciborek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piotr Joks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sparta's Marek Przebendowski got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Sparta booed when KS Złoty Łan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sparta's attentive Herbert Mnich managed to snatch the ball when Zbyszko Pazura made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Herbert Mnich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Czciborek having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacy Kowalski in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bogdan Czciborek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Piotr Joks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Piotr Joks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Piotr Joks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Sparta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KS Złoty Łan throughout the match.
