He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Raków Częstochowa reached it. If Wladyslaw Wierzchowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC GRCHW's zone, Waldemar Okropny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Czeslaw Domarecki came out of the goal and Waldemar Okropny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Mateusz Piatek made the kick off in the second half. Wlodzimierz Dresik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszek Cieslak in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Raków Częstochowa getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Wladyslaw Wierzchowski hit a great ball. Raków Częstochowa's Wlodzimierz Dresik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Jurgiel in the 57th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Waldemar Okropny got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mateusz Piatek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Czeslaw Domarecki having to interfere. Waldemar Okropny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Czeslaw Domarecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mateusz Piatek came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Raków Częstochowa fans jumped to their feet. In the 74th minute, Bernard Trojanowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes in the game, Mateusz Piatek dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC GRCHW's zone, Waldemar Okropny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Czeslaw Domarecki came out of the goal and Waldemar Okropny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wojciech Tusk during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wojciech Tusk hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 86thth minute of the game Mateusz Piatek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC GRCHW's Czeslaw Domarecki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Mateusz Piatek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Czeslaw Domarecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wladyslaw Wierzchowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Miroslaw Dziura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raków Częstochowa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC GRCHW the free kick. After 93 played minutes Raków Częstochowa got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Dziura. The FC GRCHW players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
