In the 15th minute, one of Downary:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Downary. After 20 played minutes Downary got a freekick which was hit by Barnaba Raflewski. 23 minutes into the match Konrad Niedzwiecki climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Fryderyk Sokol. 26 minutes into the game, Downary's Feliks Gejda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ignacy Lato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Mieszko Cebula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ignacy Lato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliks Gejda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ignacy Lato having to make a save. After some careless play in the KS RUCH RADZIONKOW defense, Feliks Gejda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignacy Lato. The KS RUCH RADZIONKOW fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignacy Lato should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, KS RUCH RADZIONKOW's Pankracy Boruta got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Feliks Gejda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Feliks Gejda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacy Lato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mieszko Cebula in the 42nd minute of the match. When Zachariasz Dziatkowicz came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the KS RUCH RADZIONKOW fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zachariasz Dziatkowicz couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
