In the 14th minute Feliks Gejda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Orlicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 17 minutes on the clock, Izydor Raszek commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Szyndorf SSA's Hieronim Orlicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Brzeszczak in the 27th minute of play. Zbigniew Brzeszczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hieronim Orlicki having to interfere. Feliks Gejda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Szyndorf SSA's protests and gave Marcin Augustyniak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, one of Szyndorf SSA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Szyndorf SSA. When the match had been going on for 78 minutes, Downary's Szymon Matuch got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hieronim Orlicki. After 88 minutes, Cyprian Cymbal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szyndorf SSA and the Downary players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Feliks Gejda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zbigniew Brzeszczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Hieronim Orlicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Szyndorf SSA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Downary's performance. The match ended with a win for Downary.
