Wincenty Kaider struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Fryderyk Trochowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester United. Edmund Barys's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fryderyk Trochowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Sylwester Smolak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstanty Damazki in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Borys Grabowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylwester Smolak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wieslaw Gajewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fryderyk Trochowski having to interfere. Manchester United's Wieslaw Gajewski got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 minutes of play, Manchester United's Edmund Barys made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fryderyk Trochowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Borys Grabowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sylwester Smolak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olgierd Tobaczewski got free with Sylwester Smolak in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Manchester United's Sylwester Smolak got control of the ball when Olgierd Tobaczewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Wieslaw Gajewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester United's supporters rose to their feet, but Wieslaw Gajewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fryderyk Trochowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Manchester United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
