A collision led to West Thorn getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Juliusz Wos hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacek Drapinski during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Kopaniec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacek Drapinski to maneuver through the defense. Iwan Debowy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Adam Narbut managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Thorn's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Narbut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wlodzimierz Klejnowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Leonard Wnukowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kopaniec's Wlodzimierz Klejnowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Narbut in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Wnukowski in the 39th minute of play forced Kopaniec's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Klejnowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kopaniec's zone, Juliusz Wos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wlodzimierz Klejnowski came out of the goal and Juliusz Wos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. West Thorn's Przemyslaw Wykowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save West Thorn from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iwan Debowy to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Iwan Debowy made a precise shot to the right of Przemyslaw Wykowski. West Thorn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to Kopaniec getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Iwan Debowy hit a great ball. Konrad Walkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Przemyslaw Wykowski having to interfere. Kopaniec's Iwan Debowy got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in West Thorn's zone, Iwan Debowy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Przemyslaw Wykowski came out of the goal and Iwan Debowy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kopaniec's Wlodzimierz Klejnowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Kopaniec from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iwan Debowy in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Przemyslaw Wykowski saved West Thorn from getting behind. Wlodzimierz Klejnowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonard Wnukowski in the 77th minute. Wiktor Beninda kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 82 played minutes West Thorn got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Wos. After 85 minutes, Adam Narbut mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the West Thorn and the Kopaniec players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonard Wnukowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wlodzimierz Klejnowski having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Kopaniec's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Narbut came free, but Wlodzimierz Klejnowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kopaniec fans cheered their team off the field, for while West Thorn had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
