After some careless play in the Ostróda CCC Team defense, Klement Limanowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Przemyslaw Jerzyk. The Ostróda CCC Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Przemyslaw Jerzyk should have stopped the shot. Przemyslaw Jerzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Jaraczeski in the 31st minute of play. With his leg Olaf Nocny managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Ostróda CCC Team's Iwo Banan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Jaraczeski in the 40th minute of play forced Ostróda CCC Team's goalkeeper Przemyslaw Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cyryl Mlekodaj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 55th minute, one of Ostróda CCC Team:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ostróda CCC Team. Ostróda CCC Team:s Przemyslaw Jerzyk showed great skill when he stopped Benedykt Kostrzewa:s penalty. After 59 played minutes Grzegorz Jaraczeski rounded Ostróda CCC Team's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. If Grzegorz Jaraczeski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Cyryl Mlekodaj's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olaf Nocny was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Klement Limanowski sped through Ostróda CCC Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Przemyslaw Jerzyk. In the 96th minute Grzegorz Jaraczeski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Fc Gogolin supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fc Gogolin would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
