Czeslaw Cichowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Skoroda, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikolaj Skoroda in the 10th minute of play forced WKS's goalkeeper Czeslaw Cichowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind WKS's goalkeeper Czeslaw Cichowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Czeslaw Cichowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikolaj Skoroda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerzy Ziemniak kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Mikolaj Skoroda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mikolaj Skoroda during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Oels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikolaj Skoroda to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Wasyl Orling in the 32nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 34 minutes into the match, Mikolaj Skoroda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Czeslaw Cichowski. In the 46th minute, Maciej Madej hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrzej Dembkowski to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikolaj Skoroda in the 53rd minute of play forced WKS's goalkeeper Czeslaw Cichowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes, Patryk Zarobski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oels and the WKS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Oels supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Oels would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
