The tension between the ks ciulonie and the F . C . Bytom players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ignacy Brodzki managed to get in a good position for a shot. ks ciulonie's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacy Brodzki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janusz Tamulewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ignacy Brodzki came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the ks ciulonie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacy Brodzki couldn't finish the play. After 47 minutes of play, ks ciulonie's Ignacy Brodzki made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Janusz Tamulewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half ks ciulonie were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Piotr Pozorski made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Tobiasz Polek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Izydor Tepper struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Janusz Tamulewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ks ciulonie. After 61st play minutes Piotr Pozorski shot 2-4, a short shot which went by Janusz Tamulewicz and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Bykowski in the 66th minute of play forced ks ciulonie's goalkeeper Michal Bartochowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Izydor Tepper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Janusz Tamulewicz made a huge save. Igor Olszewski made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ks ciulonie's Ignacy Brodzki. When Ignacy Brodzki came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the ks ciulonie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacy Brodzki couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute Wladyslaw Jaruzelski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Bartochowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of F . C . Bytom booed when ks ciulonie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Izydor Tepper didn't get a good kick on the ball. F . C . Bytom's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ks ciulonie the free kick. ks ciulonie's Herbert Duszenski was substituted for Ignacy Brodzki. Bytom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szymon Klocko to maneuver through the defense. ks ciulonie's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
