The tension between the stal staromiescie and the WKS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zenon Hodyl hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The referee gave Zenon Hodyl a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to stal staromiescie getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Zenon Hodyl hit a great ball. If Andrzej Dembkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. stal staromiescie's Michal Joks proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save stal staromiescie from getting a goal against them. After having played for 32 minutes, Robert Witkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WKS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Witkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of WKS booed when stal staromiescie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikolaj Pietrowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Aureliusz Gondek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Michal Joks. The goal made the score 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wladyslaw Cymbal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Michal Joks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Dembkowski in the 53rd minute of the match. Czeslaw Cichowski made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Wladyslaw Cymbal sent off a good shot on target. When Wladyslaw Cymbal came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the stal staromiescie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wladyslaw Cymbal couldn't finish the play. The supporters of stal staromiescie booed when WKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliusz Gondek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute Andrzej Dembkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Joks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, WKS's goalkeeper Czeslaw Cichowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wladyslaw Cymbal. 67 minutes into the match, stal staromiescie's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Witkowski came free, but Michal Joks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th match minute, stal staromiescie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikolaj Pietrowicz to maneuver through the defense. Michal Joks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Dembkowski in the 76th minute of the match. Michal Joks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Witkowski in the 90th minute of play. If Wladyslaw Cymbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrzej Dembkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The WKS fans cheered their team off the field, for while stal staromiescie had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
