Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tymoteusz Mentus started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sternwalde's zone, Lech Walczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jedrzej Maurycy came out of the goal and Lech Walczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wieslaw Dulemba hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Sternwalde's Tymoteusz Mentus in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kusze's goalie prevented a goal. If Tymoteusz Mentus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zdzislaw Lichorobiec made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Zachariasz Lampa sent off a good shot on target. Sternwalde's Zachariasz Lampa got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sternwalde's Jedrzej Maurycy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Czekaj in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tymoteusz Mentus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zdzislaw Lichorobiec was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After 30 played minutes Sternwalde got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Jaruzelski. After 30 played minutes, Kusze's Radowit Bugajski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jedrzej Maurycy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kusze reached it. 33 minutes into the game, Mariusz Jaruzelski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zdzislaw Lichorobiec. Mariusz Jaruzelski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Lech Walczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 37 minutes, Mariusz Jaruzelski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sternwalde and the Kusze players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zdzislaw Lichorobiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tymoteusz Mentus in the 43rd minute of the match. Sternwalde's Tymoteusz Mentus got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Tymoteusz Mentus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sternwalde's supporters rose to their feet, but Tymoteusz Mentus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zdzislaw Lichorobiec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zachariasz Lampa got free with Zdzislaw Lichorobiec in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Zachariasz Lampa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juliusz Rostow during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sternwalde booed when Kusze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Rostow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kusze's Zdzislaw Lichorobiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachariasz Lampa in the 57th minute of play. Zdzislaw Lichorobiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariasz Lampa in the 73rd minute of play. In the 81st minute, Tymoteusz Mentus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zdzislaw Lichorobiec was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Tymoteusz Mentus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Zdzislaw Lichorobiec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zdzislaw Lichorobiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariasz Lampa in the 86th minute of play. Tymoteusz Mentus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Lichorobiec having to interfere. Sternwalde were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kusze for a fine match.
