With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogumil Chmielecki in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michal Tworek saved Unia moscice Tarnow from getting behind. Marek Jekot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jerzy Majtyka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cezary Tipinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Dominik Falk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pelnik's Kryspin Bielenda got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Chmielecki in the 25th minute of play forced Unia moscice Tarnow's goalkeeper Michal Tworek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Pelnik's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Majtyka came free, but Dominik Falk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerzy Majtyka to make the kick off. Cezary Tipinski came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dominik Falk could save by the left post. Jerzy Majtyka was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Unia moscice Tarnow's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Pelnik's Marek Jekot in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
