But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludomir Piglowski couldn't finish the play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wlodzimierz Rekawiczka was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, ZASPA Gdańsk's Bogdan Rutecki got a free kick in the 64th minute. Kryspin Przebendowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Nakonieczny having to interfere. Ludomir Piglowskis short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Wojciech Szarmach to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 76th match minute, ZASPA Gdańsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Rutecki to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute Wlodzimierz Rekawiczka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojciech Szarmach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Hieronim Zdrojowy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niedzwiadek 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hieronim Zdrojowy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludomir Piglowski got free with Wojciech Szarmach in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niedzwiadek were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ZASPA Gdańsk for a fine match.
