Lucjan Werra was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edward Prus. Emil Patrylo struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Zygmunt Miecznikowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hajnówka. After a rather tough play, Ts Podgórze's Roman Jerzyk got a free kick in the 17th minute. The supporters of Hajnówka booed when Ts Podgórze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witomir Jaworski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ts Podgórze's goalkeeper Zygmunt Miecznikowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Ts Podgórze's Roman Jerzyk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucjan Werra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Lucjan Werra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszek Dziura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Emil Patrylo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 84th minute, Emil Patrylo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ts Podgórze's Szymon Dziurowicz got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th match minute, Hajnówka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slawomir Furgal to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hajnówka eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
