In the 3rd minute, Juliusz Felenak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedykt Ostrowski got free with Sebastian Czapski in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastian Czapski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juliusz Felenak's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. With a little luck, Lech Poznań's Sebastian Czapski got control of the ball when Benedykt Ostrowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Napierken booed when Lech Poznań was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomil Hatman didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedykt Ostrowski couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute Benedykt Ostrowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Czapski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Napierken players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
