The supporters of Krzan booed when Zagłębie CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateusz Pawlak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Zagłębie CF's zone, Barnaba Prus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karol Dres came out of the goal and Barnaba Prus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barnaba Prus in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karol Dres saved Zagłębie CF from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Zagłębie CF's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Pyrtek came free, but Karol Dres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Krzan's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Limanowski came free, but Herbert Bejgier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogumil Zajonc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Bejgier having to interfere. Zdzislaw Dziatkowicz hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match.
