Borys Cholewa came out of the goal and Leonard Modliszewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cieszyno's goalkeeper Borys Cholewa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Wawrzyniec Ruzicki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benedykt Czeberowski. The goal made the score 0-1. Chants of Cieszyno echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as GKS Katowice had held the ball for most of the match.
