But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Niezywy couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, Podtynje's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Bondel came free, but Beniamin Czajka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hillsong Jaworzno's Wiktor Dziurowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Hillsong Jaworzno from getting a goal against them. Jurand Wieloch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Dziurowicz having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 52nd minute, Dariusz Barciniak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute, Jurand Wieloch made a precise shot to the right of Wiktor Dziurowicz. Hillsong Jaworzno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
