An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Szel in the 3rd minute of play forced Darowne SSA's goalkeeper Karol Augustyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Stefan Szel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karol Augustyn. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. If Napoleon Czerniejewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radomil Ziemba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karol Augustyn having to interfere. But to his dismay, Napoleon Czerniejewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Darowne SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Napoleon Czerniejewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marek Maziarz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Bergersruh booed when Darowne SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziemowit Dzerwucki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Bergersruh's Cyprian Furgal tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Marek Maziarz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Czerniejewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Bergersruh's goal looked a bit too open when Napoleon Czerniejewski came free, but Marek Maziarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
