They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Slawomir Kazczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Cebula kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Edgar Brack left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KKS Lech Poznań fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Slawomir Kazczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slawomir Kazczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Czeslaw Jajesniak having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Dementorzy players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
