Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bytom's zone, Radomir Ramzinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Jerzyk came out of the goal and Radomir Ramzinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon Jerzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Glapiak in the 23rd minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Wopity's Zbyszek Brudnicki tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radomir Ramzinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 53 minutes, Milosz Glapiak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wopity and the FC Bytom players grew even worse after the yellow card.
