Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leonard Chlebek kicked off to start the match. Tymoteusz Merski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Ignacy Jekot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skalbmierz's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacy Jekot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Jerzyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Bytom's Leon Jerzyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Merski in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Olaf Kapinos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bytom's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skalbmierz the free kick. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bytom's goalkeeper Leon Jerzyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pawel Kanczuszewski charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pawel Kanczuszewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leon Jerzyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tymoteusz Merski's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Pawel Kanczuszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tymoteusz Merski in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Jerzyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Tymoteusz Merski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Jerzyk was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. If Tymoteusz Merski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Skalbmierz's Tymoteusz Merski got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tymoteusz Merski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Jerzyk having to interfere. Fryderyk Wawrukiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Zbyszko Wicherek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zbyszko Wicherek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pawel Kanczuszewski in the 63rd minute. Leon Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tymoteusz Merski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ignacy Jekot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Tymoteusz Merski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Witalis Olchawa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Skalbmierz booed when FC Bytom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Zabrzeski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Skalbmierz players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
