Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) Skalbmierz's Tymoteusz Merski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zbyszko Wicherek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Ramzinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tymoteusz Merski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmund Klucznik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tymoteusz Merski's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Ignacy Jekot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Tymoteusz Merski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Szymon Zbydniowski during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Wopity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szymon Zbydniowski to maneuver through the defense. If Pawel Dresik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tymoteusz Merski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Klucznik having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Witalis Olchawa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adam Cwenar kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Zbyszek Brudnicki hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Tymoteusz Merski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Milosz Glapiak kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Zbyszek Brudnicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edmund Klucznik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tymoteusz Merski in the 29th minute of play. With a little luck, Wopity's Edmund Klucznik got control of the ball when Witalis Olchawa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Wopity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Przemyslaw Skirzynski to maneuver through the defense. Milosz Glapiak kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Tymoteusz Merski was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Skalbmierz's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Ramzinski in the 41st minute of play forced Skalbmierz's goalkeeper Zbyszko Wicherek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Skalbmierz's Zbyszko Wicherek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Skalbmierz from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Ignacy Jekot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skalbmierz's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacy Jekot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Klucznik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Skalbmierz's Ignacy Jekot got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wopity's Edmund Klucznik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Merski in the 64th minute of play. When Milosz Glapiak fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wopity's protests and gave Milosz Glapiak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Milosz Glapiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Wopity's goal looked a bit too open when Tymoteusz Merski came free, but Edmund Klucznik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Szymon Zbydniowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Wicherek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Skalbmierz's goalkeeper Zbyszko Wicherek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radomir Ramzinski. Zbyszko Wicherek made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Mikolaj Paraszczuk sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Tymoteusz Merski made a precise shot to the right of Edmund Klucznik. Wopity's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Zbyszko Wicherek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milosz Glapiak in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Skalbmierz's zone, Szymon Zbydniowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbyszko Wicherek came out of the goal and Szymon Zbydniowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wopity players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Skalbmierz.
