The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jerzy Kornaszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucjan Niezywy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kryspin Banach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Lech Poznań booed when Tetsu Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerzy Kornaszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Jerzy Kornaszewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucjan Niezywy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kryspin Banach went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Daniel Dziatkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witomir Kostrzewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ludomir Zagrodny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Dziatkowski having to interfere. Daniel Dziatkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobald Laskowski in the 31st minute of play. Tetsu Team's Hugon Dunajski got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lech Poznań's Daniel Dziatkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Lech Poznań from getting a goal against them. Hugon Dunajski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Dziatkowski was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Hugon Dunajski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hugon Dunajski really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Teobald Laskowski had several of the Lech Poznań's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 48 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-1 score and a disappointed Daniel Dziatkowski as he didn't even see the shot coming.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kryspin Kaczeniak made a kick off. Teobald Laskowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hugon Dunajski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 played minutes Lech Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Damazy Walaszkiewicz. In the 59th minute of the match Tetsu Team got a corner. Lech Poznań's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michal Galaska ran over to the corner to take the kick. Michal Galaska made a great header on Tetsu Team's corner, it was just that Lech Poznań's Daniel Dziatkowski managed to reach the ball for a save. 61 minutes into the match, Lech Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Hugon Dunajski came free, but Daniel Dziatkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 62 minutes, Witomir Kostrzewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tetsu Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witomir Kostrzewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Dziatkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugon Dunajski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Witomir Kostrzewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Dziatkowski having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Dunajski in the 67th minute of play forced Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Daniel Dziatkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes Lech Poznań's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michal Galaska who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Michal Galaska almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lech Poznań's Daniel Dziatkowski did a great save. In the 70th minute, Hugon Dunajski made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Dziatkowski. Lech Poznań's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After 80 played minutes Tetsu Team got a freekick which was hit by Jerzy Kornaszewski. Hugon Dunajski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Daniel Dziatkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugon Dunajski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Dziatkowski having to interfere. When Tetsu Team's Teobald Laskowski in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lech Poznań's goalie prevented a goal. Jerzy Kornaszewski struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Daniel Dziatkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tetsu Team. Daniel Dziatkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludomir Zagrodny in the 93rd minute of the match. Tetsu Team's Teobald Laskowski got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Lech Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Teobald Laskowski came free, but Daniel Dziatkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute, Jerzy Kornaszewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Dziatkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Kornaszewski in the 100th minute of the match.
