The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Wasyl Fikus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. SPARTAN M07's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wasyl Fikus in the 11th minute of play forced AC Barcelona's goalkeeper Miroslaw Furgat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Wasyl Fikus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SPARTAN M07's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wasyl Fikus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AC Barcelona! In the 19th minute, Wasyl Fikus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miroslaw Furgat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. SPARTAN M07's Przemyslaw Korytkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Franzik in the 25th minute of play. Jacek Franzik's late challenge caught a SPARTAN M07's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacek Franzik helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AC Barcelona's Jacek Franzik got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Edgar Loncki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Edgar Loncki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Barcelona's Miroslaw Furgat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wasyl Fikus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miroslaw Furgat having to make a save. 36 minutes into the match, Edgar Loncki notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of AC Barcelona's Miroslaw Furgat. Miroslaw Furgat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Przemyslaw Korytkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Franzik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Miroslaw Dziedziak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacek Franzik to strike the kick off in the second half. 67 minutes into the match, AC Barcelona's goalkeeper Miroslaw Furgat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wasyl Fikus. After 67 minutes, Janusz Wlodyga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Barcelona and the SPARTAN M07 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, AC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janusz Wlodyga to maneuver through the defense. Wasyl Fikus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Miroslaw Furgat made a huge save. In the 72nd minute, Wasyl Fikus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Miroslaw Furgat. The goal made the score 1-4. Wasyl Fikus in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Miroslaw Furgat, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Janusz Wlodyga was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. In the 80th minute, Janusz Wlodyga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes AC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Jacek Franzik. Edgar Loncki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Miroslaw Furgat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zula Klawki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
