With a little luck, AS.Legion's Zbyszek Wojtowicz got control of the ball when Herbert Kluczyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zbyszek Wojtowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herbert Kluczyk in the 10th minute. Herbert Kluczyk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zbyszek Wojtowicz having to make a save. Zenon Wejta's late challenge caught a Wiechutki's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zenon Wejta helped the player get up and apologised. Zenon Wejta hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil Burufski in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobiasz Sierocki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 played minutes Wiechutki got a freekick which was hit by Roman Sadlowski. In the 26th minute, Bartosz Zjawin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Burufski in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobiasz Sierocki saved Wiechutki from getting behind. Zbyszek Wojtowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincenty Drugi in the 31st minute of play. Wiechutki's Wincenty Drugi got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilbert Glapiak kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Wiechutki's Ksawery Jekot tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to AS.Legion getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Waclaw Prokowski hit a great ball. Zbyszek Wojtowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wincenty Drugi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wiechutki's goalkeeper Tobiasz Sierocki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wincenty Drugi to make the kick off. Wincenty Drugi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zbyszek Wojtowicz having to make a save. Zbyszek Wojtowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wincenty Drugi's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herbert Kluczyk in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zbyszek Wojtowicz saved AS.Legion from getting behind. When Gilbert Glapiak fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AS.Legion's protests and gave Gilbert Glapiak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, AS.Legion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Glapiak to maneuver through the defense. Wincenty Drugi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Zbyszek Wojtowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wincenty Drugi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Tscherner hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Wiechutki's Herbert Kluczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Burufski in the 76th minute of play forced Wiechutki's goalkeeper Tobiasz Sierocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wincenty Drugi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszek Wojtowicz having to interfere. AS.Legion's Zbyszek Wojtowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Kluczyk in the 86th minute of play. Herbert Kluczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszek Wojtowicz having to interfere. Wiechutki's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
