But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kazimierz Kaczorowski couldn't finish the play. After having played for 15 minutes, Boruc Dombroski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dzików SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boruc Dombroski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariusz Sierocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mieszko Hajder, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Kazimierz Kaczorowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Konrad Filipkowski made a huge save. After having played for 20 minutes, Norbert Drab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 28th minute Boruc Dombroski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Sierocki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Dzików SSA fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Dzików SSA's Boruc Dombroski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Boruc Dombroski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Dzików SSA booed when Grossfreiendorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Wos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grossfreiendorf's Mariusz Sierocki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boruc Dombroski in the 40th minute of play. Konrad Filipkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Drab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kazimierz Kaczorowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mieszko Hajder to strike the kick off in the second half. Konrad Filipkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Kaczorowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Dzików SSA getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Iwan Misiewicz hit a great ball. After 55 played minutes Dzików SSA got a freekick which was hit by Szczepan Felenak. Dzików SSA's Konrad Filipkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Drab in the 57th minute of play. Mieszko Hajder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariusz Sierocki having to interfere. If Iwan Misiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kazimierz Kaczorowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grossfreiendorf reached it. The Dzików SSA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dzików SSA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
