Spectators: 7263 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wincent Setara took the kick off in the first half of the match. Edmund Opat came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Polonia Bytom BBK's Dominik Tychy. But to his dismay, Dominik Tychy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 8th match minute, Zawisza Bydgoszcz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Porajewski to maneuver through the defense. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Zenon Piczak scored to the left of an out of position Edmund Opat, making the score, 2-0. Zenon Piczak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmund Opat having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominik Tychy got free with Edmund Opat in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dominik Tychy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Edmund Opat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmund Opat was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zenon Piczak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 28 minute of play. Dominik Tychy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmund Opat didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. In the 40th minute Zenon Piczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Opat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Zenon Piczak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Edmund Opat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dominik Tychy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmund Opat having to make a save. Maksymilian Grajewski's late challenge caught a Zawisza Bydgoszcz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maksymilian Grajewski helped the player get up and apologised. Maksymilian Grajewski hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. In the 49th minute, Herbert Zerde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zenon Piczak made a kick off. Edmund Opat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Tychy in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Klement Pazura got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 68th minute, Zenon Piczak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Polonia Bytom BBK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Dominik Tychy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Edmund Opat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan Wieloch kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Polonia Bytom BBK's Zenon Piczak got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Zenon Piczak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute Zenon Piczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Opat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Klement Pazura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klement Pazura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dominik Tychy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
