Klement Olchowy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zenon Zbikowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. If Juliusz Tyszka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Roch Hendzel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lazio's supporters rose to their feet, but Roch Hendzel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zenon Zbikowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the game, Juventus's Juliusz Tyszka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jedrzej Pacholewski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Wladyslaw Jajecznicas short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Jedrzej Pacholewski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Juliusz Tyszka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jedrzej Pacholewski having to make a save. Jacek Pyrtek's late challenge caught a Juventus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacek Pyrtek helped the player get up and apologised. Zenon Zbikowski came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Lazio's Klement Olchowy. But to his dismay, Klement Olchowy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Jakub Domeracki charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jakub Domeracki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute Klement Olchowy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Zbikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klement Olchowy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Zenon Zbikowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Juventus getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Juliusz Tyszka hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roch Hendzel got free with Zenon Zbikowski in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 played minutes Lazio got a freekick which was hit by Florian Lenertej. Jedrzej Pacholewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wladyslaw Jajecznica in the 91st minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Lazio got a freekick which was hit by Roman Zabrzeski. Lukasz Kinic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Pacholewski having to interfere. The Juventus supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lazio's performance. The match ended with a win for Lazio.
