The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bogdan Ikalewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Wladyslaw Burdzel came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Filip Odachowski could save by the left post. When Janusz Jestrimski fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Binduga's protests and gave Janusz Jestrimski a yellow card for diving instead. Filip Odachowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Mruk, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of k. s. Niebieskie Michały booed when Binduga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janusz Jestrimski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filip Odachowski was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Borys Mruk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Borys Mruk really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With splendid footwork Borys Mruk arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 37th minute. When Janusz Jestrimski was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. In the 42nd minute, Janusz Jestrimski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sylwester Zerde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boguslaw Gierlach having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Borys Mruk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Borys Mruk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. k. s. Niebieskie Michały had won after a very even match.
