With his leg Teofil Przybylo managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Grünhoff's Zachariasz Majdoch fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slawomir Krzynowek in the 17th minute of play forced Grünhoff's goalkeeper Zbigniew Smolarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachariasz Majdoch in the 21st minute of play forced MKS Polar Wrocław's goalkeeper Teofil Przybylo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grzegorz Penczkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Zachariasz Majdoch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grünhoff's supporters rose to their feet, but Zachariasz Majdoch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofil Przybylo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ziemowit Derlanga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Zbigniew Smolarek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Grünhoff's Zachariasz Majdoch in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MKS Polar Wrocław's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 48 minutes, Slawomir Krzynowek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Polar Wrocław's supporters crossed their fingers, but Slawomir Krzynowek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Slawomir Krzynowek was the one to do the kick off. Zachariasz Majdoch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Zachariasz Majdoch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Teofil Przybylo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Grünhoff's Zbigniew Smolarek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Grünhoff from getting a goal against them. Grünhoff's Grzegorz Penczkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teofil Przybylo came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Grünhoff's Zachariasz Majdoch. But to his dismay, Zachariasz Majdoch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Teofil Przybylo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zachariasz Majdoch's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Teofil Przybylo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachariasz Majdoch, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Teofil Przybylo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Penczkowski in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Grzegorz Penczkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zbigniew Smolarek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Slawomir Krzynowek's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes into the match, MKS Polar Wrocław's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Penczkowski came free, but Teofil Przybylo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Zachariasz Majdoch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grünhoff's supporters rose to their feet, but Zachariasz Majdoch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
