Spectators: 7286 (Terracing: 5467, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zygmunt Cichewski made the kick off which started today's match. 1-0 became the score in the 6th minute when Zygmunt Cichewski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Zbyszko Betonowy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ignacy Luty, 3-0. Ignacy Luty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Cichewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 32 minutes Port Royal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zbyszek Wiater who took care of the corner kick. UKS UPADOWA's Zbyszek Wiater was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ignacy Luty in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Port Royal's zone, Zbyszko Betonowy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacy Luty came out of the goal and Zbyszko Betonowy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dariusz Bienienda got free with Ignacy Luty in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ignacy Luty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Cichewski in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iwan Jarek was the one to do the kick off. Zygmunt Cichewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zbyszko Betonowy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacy Luty having to interfere. Zbyszko Betonowy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zygmunt Cichewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ignacy Luty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Port Royal's Ignacy Luty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Betonowy in the 76th minute of play. If Zygmunt Cichewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Zbyszko Betonowy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Luty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute Zbyszko Betonowy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Luty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacy Luty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Cichewski in the 92nd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. UKS UPADOWA had played much better football throughout.
