Gilbert Grabski hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Salzwedel SA's zone, Iwan Gacki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stasio Kolba came out of the goal and Iwan Gacki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21st play minutes Iwan Gacki shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Stasio Kolba and just under the crossbar into goal. Michal Absolwent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbigniew Zielinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernard Chlebek in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michal Absolwent saved Kobieta w Ciele Mężczyzny from getting behind. Iwan Gacki's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stasio Kolba firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 33rd minute, Bernard Chlebek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michal Absolwent was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bernard Chlebek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Kobieta w Ciele Mężczyzny's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Zielinski came free, but Michal Absolwent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Bernard Chlebek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Michal Absolwent was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernard Chlebek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Michal Absolwent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zbigniew Zielinski made a kick off. If Zbigniew Zielinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute of the match Marcin Trynda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stasio Kolba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zbigniew Zielinski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michal Absolwent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Salzwedel SA's goal looked a bit too open when Boleslaw Seliga came free, but Stasio Kolba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Iwan Gacki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iwan Gacki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Stasio Kolba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boleslaw Seliga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stasio Kolba having to interfere. A collision led to Salzwedel SA getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gilbert Grabski hit a great ball. Stasio Kolba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boleslaw Seliga in the 73rd minute of play. Piotr Bilicki kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Bernard Chlebek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Zbigniew Zielinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kajetan Pusiak might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michal Absolwent. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kajetan Pusiak ran back to his position shaking his head. Michal Absolwent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbigniew Zielinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Salzwedel SA's Michal Absolwent threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zbigniew Zielinski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bernard Chlebek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Absolwent having to interfere. Michal Absolwent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Zielinski in the 94th minute of the match. If Zbigniew Zielinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salzwedel SA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
