After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Norbert Brytka managed to get in a good position for a shot. GKS Szombierki Bytom's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Brytka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marek Czerniejewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. GKS Szombierki Bytom's Norbert Brytka got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Witold Zajonc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Klaudiaki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GKS Szombierki Bytom the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Norbert Brytka kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marek Czerniejewski. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Norbert Brytka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Marek Czerniejewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GKS Szombierki Bytom's Witold Bugno got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Klaudiaki's goalkeeper Marek Czerniejewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marek Czerniejewski didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when GKS Szombierki Bytom's Norbert Brytka shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Norbert Brytka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. FC Klaudiaki's Marek Czerniejewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save FC Klaudiaki from getting a goal against them. GKS Szombierki Bytom's Beniamin Mentis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Wyrzykowski in the 40th minute of play. Norbert Brytkas short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Marek Czerniejewski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norbert Brytka was the one to do the kick off. Witold Bugno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Czerniejewski having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norbert Brytka in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marek Czerniejewski saved FC Klaudiaki from getting behind. In the 55th minute, Witold Zajonc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marek Czerniejewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Brytka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of GKS Szombierki Bytom booed when FC Klaudiaki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Wyrzykowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Radomir Birkenhagen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GKS Szombierki Bytom's Norbert Brytka got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91st play minutes Norbert Brytka shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Marek Czerniejewski and just under the crossbar into goal. Marek Czerniejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Brytka in the 94th minute of the match. When Norbert Brytka came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the GKS Szombierki Bytom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Brytka couldn't finish the play.
