Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Straubendorf's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Czarnecki came free, but Damazy Zworski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tolek Zbytniewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damazy Zworski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tolek Zbytniewski ran back to his position shaking his head. Damazy Zworski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Czarnecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Straubendorf's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Czarnecki came free, but Damazy Zworski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Straubendorf's zone, Tolek Zbytniewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damazy Zworski came out of the goal and Tolek Zbytniewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damazy Zworski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwo Czarnecki's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 46th minute Iwo Czarnecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Zworski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Iwo Czarnecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tanek Snaza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, Przybyszyn SA's Iwo Czarnecki made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
