The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Witomir Kajder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Michal Brudnicki made a huge save. Witomir Kajder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Brudnicki having to interfere. Sylwester Bierfass hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Radowit Bazan succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. A hard shot by Herbert Miarka from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Michal Brudnicki's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 17 minutes into the match, Soldin SA's goal looked a bit too open when Radowit Bazan came free, but Michal Brudnicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soldin SA were furious when Tolek Chlapowski was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Leon Chuchro walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Witomir Kajder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Brudnicki having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Radowit Bazan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schwarztein's supporters rose to their feet, but Radowit Bazan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michal Brudnicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witomir Kajder got free with Michal Brudnicki in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Witomir Kajder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Witomir Kajder could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Michal Brudnicki however easily saved by the left post. Witomir Kajder might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michal Brudnicki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Witomir Kajder ran back to his position shaking his head. Soldin SA's Jacek Zdrojowy got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Radowit Bazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Brudnicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witomir Kajder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michal Brudnicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Bazan, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When Jacek Zdrojowy came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Soldin SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacek Zdrojowy couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With his leg Lech Sliwinski managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Soldin SA's Jacek Zdrojowy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jacek Zdrojowy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Lech Sliwinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radowit Bazan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radowit Bazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Brudnicki having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Radowit Bazan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Michal Brudnicki came out of the goal and Witomir Kajder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Witomir Kajder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Witomir Kajder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schwarztein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witomir Kajder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radowit Bazan in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michal Brudnicki saved Soldin SA from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Soldin SA's zone, Radowit Bazan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michal Brudnicki came out of the goal and Radowit Bazan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Witomir Kajder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Witomir Kajder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Michal Brudnicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michal Brudnicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witomir Kajder in the 89th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Schwarztein had played much better football throughout.
