The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonard Grucza was the one to do the kick off. Jerzy Balkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Czeszyk in the 51st minute of the match. Jerzy Balkiewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waclaw Jestrimski's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Leonard Dziedziak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Balkiewicz having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Dziedziak got free with Jerzy Balkiewicz in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Talau's Jerzy Balkiewicz threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Grzegorz Czeszyk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Czeszyk in the 93rd minute of play forced Baziens's goalkeeper Jerzy Balkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Talau's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
