The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute Piotr Gieraltowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Traczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Buchenhagen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Kendra to maneuver through the defense. Boguslaw Traczewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Skaradoski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th match minute, Burzyn SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Kasiewski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Gieraltowski in the 22nd minute of play forced Burzyn SSA's goalkeeper Boguslaw Traczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Piotr Gieraltowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buchenhagen's supporters rose to their feet, but Piotr Gieraltowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boguslaw Traczewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Piotr Gieraltowski struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Boguslaw Traczewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buchenhagen. After having played for 31 minutes, Radomir Skaradoski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buchenhagen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radomir Skaradoski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Radomir Skaradoski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Piotr Gieraltowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piotr Gieraltowski succeeded in the game's 40th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Piotr Gieraltowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boguslaw Traczewski having to interfere. Piotr Gieraltowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cezary Burdzel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Piotr Gieraltowski in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Boguslaw Traczewski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Radomir Skaradoski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Gieraltowski in the 58th minute of play forced Burzyn SSA's goalkeeper Boguslaw Traczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cezary Burdzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rafal Fronczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Piotr Gieraltowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radomir Skaradoski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Boguslaw Traczewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Piotr Gieraltowski came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Buchenhagen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Piotr Gieraltowski couldn't finish the play. In the 71st match minute, Burzyn SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Zapolski to maneuver through the defense. Boguslaw Traczewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piotr Gieraltowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Radomir Skaradoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Burzyn SSA's Ryszard Siwek got a free kick in the 80th minute. A collision led to Burzyn SSA getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Edgar Kasiewski hit a great ball. Radomir Skaradoski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Buchenhagen's Piotr Gieraltowski managed to work through Burzyn SSA's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Piotr Gieraltowski dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The Burzyn SSA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Buchenhagen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
