The supporters of Opoczka booed when Diebau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszko Piatek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Diebau's Jan Wasikowski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jan Wasikowski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Diebau protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jan Wasikowski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Diebau:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Opoczka:s goal. Lucjan Orling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boleslaw Tusk in the 32nd minute of play. Antoni Skaradowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Opoczka's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
