After some careless play in the KS Czarków defense, Wlodzimierz Tyszka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugeniusz Borowski. The KS Czarków fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugeniusz Borowski should have stopped the shot. Witomir Podwojski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Lewandowski having to interfere. With a little luck, Sparta Chorzow's Daniel Lewandowski got control of the ball when Jakub Zawada tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Miromir Psotka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match Kajetan Drugi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugeniusz Borowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jakub Zawada hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Cezary Poniewaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Witomir Podwojski came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the KS Czarków fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witomir Podwojski couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute, Jakub Zawada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jakub Zawada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Witomir Podwojski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 48th match minute, Sparta Chorzow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwidon Dobilas to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Witomir Podwojski to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Sparta Chorzow's goal looked a bit too open when Jakub Zawada came free, but Daniel Lewandowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Sparta Chorzow's Wlodzimierz Tyszka dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Barnaba Borkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Eugeniusz Borowski made a huge save. Witomir Podwojski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Daniel Lewandowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Edward Maruda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sparta Chorzow's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS Czarków the free kick. After 78 played minutes Sparta Chorzow got a freekick which was hit by Edward Maruda. A collision led to Sparta Chorzow getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Edward Maruda hit a great ball. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sparta Chorzow's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antoni Trzemzalski was slow to take the kick. During this time KS Czarków's players had a chance to rest. Jerzy Ratulowski was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Witomir Podwojski managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Czarków's supporters rose to their feet, but Witomir Podwojski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Lewandowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of KS Czarków booed when Sparta Chorzow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Poniewaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Witomir Podwojski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Daniel Lewandowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sparta Chorzow walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
