Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stefan Skikiewicz made the kick off which started today's match. After 9 played minutes GKS Tychy 1971 got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Resel. After 10 played minutes, Ruch Chorzów's Fabian Resel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Wieczorek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ruch Chorzów reached it. After 11 minutes of play GKS Tychy 1971's Miroslaw Resel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After recieving a nice pass, Ruch Chorzów's Fabian Resel tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Wawrzyniec Marut struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Lucjan Koczara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GKS Tychy 1971. Stefan Skikiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Koczara having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, GKS Tychy 1971's Wawrzyniec Marut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucjan Koczara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Wieczorek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanek Perkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ruch Chorzów's Barnaba Galus got a free kick in the 37th minute. Radowit Debkowski, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Beniamin Kasprzak kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Szymon Bycofski's late challenge caught a Ruch Chorzów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Szymon Bycofski helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, GKS Tychy 1971's Szymon Bycofski got a free kick in the 40th minute. Tanek Perkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Wieczorek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tanek Perkowski to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, one of Ruch Chorzów:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ruch Chorzów. The referee gave GKS Tychy 1971 a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Radowit Debkowski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ruch Chorzów's Lucjan Koczara. 2-0. In the 69th minute, Tanek Perkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ruch Chorzów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tanek Perkowski got free with Daniel Wieczorek in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucjan Koczara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Marut in the 75th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, Ruch Chorzów's Tanek Perkowski made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Wieczorek was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Wawrzyniec Marut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 98th minute, Boruc Zuraw left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GKS Tychy 1971 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GKS Tychy 1971 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ruch Chorzów had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
