The Ruch Chorzów fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Ruch Chorzów's Tanek Perkowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Kryspin Wasikowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Lucjan Koczara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kryspin Wasikowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucjan Koczara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kryspin Wasikowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barnaba Galus to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Jerzy Sokolski managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Ruch Chorzów's Barnaba Galus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Dzikie Bobry booed when Ruch Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Gecionis didn't get a good kick on the ball.
