In the 13th minute Emil Skaradowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Borucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Przemyslaw Borucki made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Wincenty Czeszyk sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Napoli booed when Wenzken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walery Sobania didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wenzken's goalkeeper Przemyslaw Borucki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bartlomiej Lech struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Artur Wojtyna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wenzken. Artur Wojtyna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartlomiej Lech, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Feliks Ptaszek kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kryspin Kosakowski to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Emil Skaradowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kryspin Kosakowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Wojtyna having to interfere.
