The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Fabian Birkenhagen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sosnowa Gęsiniec's supporters rose to their feet, but Antoni Setara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Gacek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th match minute, FC BOBRY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Birkenhagen to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the game, FC BOBRY's Jan Domamir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Witomir Motyl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Domamir got free with Witomir Motyl in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sosnowa Gęsiniec's Witomir Motyl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Sosnowa Gęsiniec from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FC BOBRY booed when Sosnowa Gęsiniec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcin Prusek didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jan Domamir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Stasio Sakowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Klement Balonek sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC BOBRY's Edgar Gacek didn't even have to move. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Bogdan Arbaszewski came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgar Gacek could save by the left post. In the 57th minute Jan Domamir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witomir Motyl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobald Bartocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Witomir Motyl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Sosnowa Gęsiniec's Antoni Setara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgar Gacek. That made the score 1-1 after 62 minutes of play. Antoni Setara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teobald Bartocha's late challenge caught a Sosnowa Gęsiniec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teobald Bartocha helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sosnowa Gęsiniec fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Klement Bubczyk shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 79th minute, Zbyszko Polek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A wasted opportunity for FC BOBRY. 87 minutes into the match, Sosnowa Gęsiniec's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Birkenhagen came free, but Witomir Motyl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Domamir struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Witomir Motyl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC BOBRY. Adam Kordalewski hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. During the 99th minute of the match Zbyszko Polek completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zbyszko Polek a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
