He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jaroszewo SSA reached it. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sylwester Fafinski sped through Jaroszewo SSA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lech Jarosz. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lech Jarosz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Szymon Dobrzechowski came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Johnny Runeberg could save by the left post. If Gwidon Polkoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sylwester Fafinski made a kick off. Johnny Runeberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szymon Dobrzechowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Jaroszewo SSA's Lech Jarosz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Jaroszewo SSA from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Ignacy Adamowicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johnny Runeberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Flying Bassman players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jaroszewo SSA.
