Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arkadiusz Chlapowski kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arkadiusz Chlapowski in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radomir Jajesniak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartlomiej Rawa got free with Radomir Jajesniak in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, 1.FC Katowice's Radomir Jajesniak got control of the ball when Bartlomiej Rawa tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Teofil Cielencki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, 1.FC Katowice's Artur Mosiniak broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 16 minutes into the game, Marek Tepper was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gehsen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1.FC Katowice the free kick. Marek Tepper kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to Gehsen getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Marek Tepper hit a great ball. Lech Wyrostek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remigiusz Beninda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Cielencki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Bartlomiej Rawa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Radomir Jajesniak, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Damian Trochowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gehsen's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Trochowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomir Jajesniak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arkadiusz Chlapowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bartlomiej Rawa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arkadiusz Chlapowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radomir Jajesniak having to make a save. Lech Wyrostek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigiusz Beninda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Radomir Jajesniak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiusz Chlapowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by 1.FC Katowice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emil Patora was slow to take the kick. During this time Gehsen's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Gehsen's corner Emil Patora fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Radomir Jajesniak quite easily take care of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Teofil Cielencki made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Bartlomiej Rawa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radomir Jajesniak was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. 1.FC Katowice's Radomir Jajesniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartlomiej Rawa in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind 1.FC Katowice's goalkeeper Radomir Jajesniak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of 1.FC Katowice booed when Gehsen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Tepper didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Teofil Cielencki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigiusz Beninda. Gehsen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofil Cielencki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Arkadiusz Chlapowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Radomir Jajesniak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofil Cielencki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigiusz Beninda having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Arkadiusz Chlapowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radomir Jajesniak. 1.FC Katowice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arkadiusz Chlapowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Bartlomiej Rawa took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radomir Jajesniak. Radomir Jajesniak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 1.FC Katowice's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
