In the 13th minute, Arkadiusz Chlapowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th match minute, Gehsen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Tepper to maneuver through the defense. Marek Tepper's late challenge caught a Altkirchen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marek Tepper helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Wincenty Dobrowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altkirchen's supporters rose to their feet, but Wincenty Dobrowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigiusz Beninda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Chlapowski in the 27th minute of play forced Altkirchen's goalkeeper Zbyszek Tusk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Fabian Scigan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigiusz Beninda. Gehsen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Scigan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 35 minutes of play, Altkirchen's Fabian Scigan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigiusz Beninda was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Gehsen's zone, Wincenty Dobrowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigiusz Beninda came out of the goal and Wincenty Dobrowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Scigan took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remigiusz Beninda. Remigiusz Beninda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Scigan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Altkirchen's Wincenty Dobrowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigiusz Beninda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zbyszek Tusk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartlomiej Rawa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucjan Solecki charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucjan Solecki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 58 minutes into the game, one of Altkirchen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Gehsen. Emil Patora stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zbyszek Tusk. 1-3. When Hieronim Falk fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altkirchen's protests and gave Hieronim Falk a yellow card for diving instead. Hieronim Falk kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Bartlomiej Rawa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Zbyszek Tusk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Altkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Bartlomiej Rawa came free, but Zbyszek Tusk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gehsen's Remigiusz Beninda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Gehsen from getting a goal against them. Zbyszek Tusk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartlomiej Rawa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remigiusz Beninda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Scigan, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. With a little luck, Gehsen's Remigiusz Beninda got control of the ball when Wincenty Dobrowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Fabian Scigan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 101st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Altkirchen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
