Cezary Galagan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Wit Cichowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Slawomir Moryl skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kopczyn's zone, Hieronim Literski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Slawomir Moryl came out of the goal and Hieronim Literski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Hieronim Literski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Górnik Sosnowiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Hieronim Literski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Slawomir Moryl made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Kopczyn's Ziemowit Burdalski got a free kick in the 16th minute. KS Górnik Sosnowiec's Pankracy Pachucki couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kopczyn. 26 minutes into the game, Kopczyn's Sylwester Niemojewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iwan Czapski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. KS Górnik Sosnowiec's Iwan Czapski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Niemojewski in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in KS Górnik Sosnowiec's zone, Sylwester Niemojewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Czapski came out of the goal and Sylwester Niemojewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Sylwester Niemojewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kopczyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylwester Niemojewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Szymon Mios hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Sylwester Niemojewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Kopczyn's Slawomir Moryl got control of the ball when Hieronim Literski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dobromir Gleba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Czapski having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Budzynski made a kick off. After some careless play in the KS Górnik Sosnowiec defense, Dobromir Gleba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwan Czapski. The KS Górnik Sosnowiec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwan Czapski should have stopped the shot. In the 58thth minute of the game Igor Budzynski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kopczyn's Slawomir Moryl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Budzynski in the 63rd minute of play forced Kopczyn's goalkeeper Slawomir Moryl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KS Górnik Sosnowiec's Hieronim Literski got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Slawomir Moryl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Budzynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes Kopczyn got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Wojton. Hieronim Literski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dobromir Gleba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Czapski having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kopczyn's Ziemowit Burdalski got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 92nd minute, Igor Budzynski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dobromir Gleba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Kopczyn players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
