But to his dismay, Ksawery Pietras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Kajetan Palzewicz fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.c Milan's protests and gave Kajetan Palzewicz a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes A.c Milan got a freekick which was hit by Kajetan Palzewicz. After having played for 19 minutes, Norbert Pionek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kumiria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Pionek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustaw Cichewski hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Zachariasz Koczara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Zbigniew Ramzinski hit a great ball. A.c Milan's Jedrzej Chlebek got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in A.c Milan's zone, Zbigniew Ramzinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patryk Marchewka came out of the goal and Zbigniew Ramzinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olgierd Frodyma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Szkaradek in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zachariasz Koczara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
